GREEN COMMITMENT

As a responsible global company, AOS is committed to protecting the environment by becoming a Green supplier.

ROHS

AOS began converting its products to RoHS compliancy starting August 2004 and achieved full RoHS conversion in July 2005.

RoHS products do not exceed the following hazardous material levels and are compliant with European RoHS and SS0259:

Cadmium < 100 ppm
Hg < 1000 ppm
Lead (Pb)* < 1000 ppm
Hexavalent Chromium (Cr6+) < 1000 ppm
Poly Brominated Biphenyls (PBB) < 1000 ppm
Poly Brominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE) < 1000 ppm

* Maximum Pb limit does not apply to applications for which exemptions have been granted by the RoHS Directive, such as high temperature solder die attach for certain products

GREEN

Our next effort is to convert our products to Green. AOS defines Green as products that are RoHS compliant and use flame retardant agents in the molding compound that do not exceed the following hazardous materials levels:

Bromine < 900 ppm
Chlorine < 900 ppm
Total Bromine and Chlorine 1500 ppm max
Antimony < 900 ppm
